Educator
About the role
At Shady Lane, we believe that every moment with a child is an opportunity to shape their future! For over 55 years, we have provided high-quality, nurturing education to children from all backgrounds, with a firm commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our school serves a mixed‑income population, with 38% of students, 30% of teaching staff, and 53% of the Board of Directors identifying as multi‑ethnic. As a leader in early childhood education and social‑emotional learning, we partner with Duquesne University to implement a comprehensive Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum across all classrooms. Our dedication to excellence has earned us the prestigious PA Keystone Stars 4A designation and NAEYC accreditation!
Imagine spending your day surrounded by energetic toddlers eager to explore and learn about the world!
