Educational Sales Consultant, Central California

About the role

IXL Learning, a leading provider of personalized learning products, seeks an energetic and creative Educational Sales Consultant to join its dynamic field sales team. This role offers the chance to contribute to the growth and success of both IXL and Rosetta Stone K-12 platforms.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually and in person
• Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process
• Maintain and exceed sales goals consistently
• Design and implement new and creative sales strategies
• Stay informed about market trends and adapt sales approaches accordingly
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers
• Gather customer feedback to enhance product offerings
• Promote IXL and Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences
• Travel 75-80% with periodic overnight stays as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
• 3+ years of educational sales experience
• Classroom experience or related educational field experience preferred
• Familiarity with web-based technologies
• Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for bringing technology into the classroom

Benefits
