Educational & Lunchroom Assistant (bilingual preferred)

About the role

This is a full-time (~35 hours per week) position during the 10-month school year. Fluency in English is required; bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, clerical, and/or supervisory support to the classroom teacher and/or school community, including one-on-one or small group skill reinforcement, classroom management, student supervision, and classroom materials preparation.
• Support the food service program in the cafeteria as a Lunchroom Assistant.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Bilingual fluency in written and spoken Spanish to support English Language Learners (ELL).
• Prior experience working with children in a school, childcare, tutoring, or youth program setting.
• Associate Degree or higher.

$17.00 - $17.45 per hour.
