About the role

Under the direction of the Director of Student Services, coordinates, organizes and conducts the After School Education & Safety Program (ASES) for various ages, including organizing and conducting extended learning opportunities, homework help, enrichment activities and events, monitoring/overseeing students and IA’s, and performing related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct the After School Education & Safety Program (ASES)
• Organize extended learning opportunities, homework help, and enrichment activities
• Conduct enrichment activities and events
• Monitor and oversee students and Instructional Assistants (IA’s)

Requirements

• Proof of high school graduation
• One (1) year experience in an after-school program, or any experience or training that would likely provide the required knowledge and ability to oversee an after-school enrichment/academic program
• Qualifying experience may be obtained through:
  • Three (3) years of experience in providing childcare and/or pre-school services
  • Three (3) semesters of college studies in administration, staff relations, or education
• The ability to travel from site to site
• Pass the District’s adopted Proficiency Examination with a satisfactory score

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Tentative test date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026
