About the role

We are hiring in-person Educational Clinicians / Tutors to work at our Lindamood-Bell Learning Center in Englewood, CO. This position is ideal for individuals interested in education, teaching, literacy, child development, tutoring, or academic support, and who are passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group instruction to in-person and online students of various ages.
  • Record notes about student performance while delivering engaging, structured lesson plans under the direction of Learning Center leadership.
  • Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximize learning.
  • Facilitate the use of the curriculum provided for Lindamood-Bell Academy students.
  • Communicate positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Manage client records, both handwritten and electronic.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, early childhood education certificate, or currently enrolled in a degree program (students welcome).
  • Passion for helping others succeed academically.
  • Ability to connect and engage with students of all ages while showcasing effective task-management capabilities in each instructional session.
  • Strong reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Required: Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, early childhood education certificate, or currently enrolled in a degree program (students welcome).
  • Preferred: Tutoring, teaching, or classroom experience; background in education, child development, or literacy; experience working with children or students.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $22.

Schedule

  • Available positions are part-time and full-time, beginning now.
  • Monday through Friday availability is required.
  • Learning Center hours of operation: 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM.
  • Scheduling changes may be made based on the needs of the Learning Center.
  • Post-training hours will generally be less than 30 hours per week for part-time employees according to the scheduling needs of the Learning Center.
  • Full-time employees will generally be scheduled for 30 or more hours per week.
  • Internship credits may be available.
