Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher OR 48 credit hours from an accredited college/university
• Pass the ParaPro assessment
• Possess or be eligible to obtain an educational assistant license issued by the New Mexico Public Education Department
• Experience as an educational assistant (preferred)

Skills

• Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish (preferred)

Requirements

An FBI fingerprint background check will be conducted on all new hires of Las Cruces Public Schools at a cost to the employee. Continued employment is contingent upon the results of the background check.
