Responsibilities

• Support students with special needs, including helping with communication and behavioral strategies
• Assist the teacher with preparing materials and resources for lessons
• Supervise students during class activities, breaks, and lunch
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management under the teacher's direction
• Set up, clean, and organize classroom materials and spaces
• Provide support to students who may need assistance with activities of daily living (toileting, feeding, hygiene, lifting)
• Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or school administration

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must enjoy working with school-aged children

Pay

$22.06 per hour
