About the role
GlowUp ACS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports college students who face barriers to gaining experience, such as lack of prior internships, limited networks, or systemic disadvantage. The focus is on education, training, and professional readiness.
Responsibilities
- Supporting students as they learn tools and platforms
- Helping answer questions or explain workflows
- Providing feedback or encouragement
- Aiding with structured learning materials
- Serving as a mentor for professional development efforts
Requirements
No prior teaching experience is necessary. Patience, clarity, and empathy are key qualities.
Qualifications
Experience with technology, including a reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and the ability to use Slack or browser-based tools is required.
