San Mateo-Foster City School District is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and educates approximately 10,500 students (representing 50 languages) in preschool through eighth grades across 22 schools. About the role

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking an Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate) teacher. The district accepts up to 12 years of experience and offers a personalized induction program at no cost to teachers.

Responsibilities

• Support students with mild to moderate disabilities, including autism, in an inclusive educational setting.

Requirements

• Mild/Moderate Credential with Autism certificate or Mod/Severe Credential.
• District hires interns and those in the process of completing their credentials.
• Three letters of recommendation required.
• Transcripts will be required upon hire.

Pay

Annual pay range: $73,107 - $123,675.

Schedule

186 days per year, full-time employment.
