Job Summary
PULSE Bangladesh is recruiting for the following positions to implement a 'Child Friendly Spaces' project in the Rohingya camp at Ukiya, Cox's Bazar, supported by the International Organization of "Good Factory Foundation", Poland.
About the Role
The positions are part of a project aimed at providing support and education to children and youth in the Rohingya camp.
Responsibilities
- Assistant Project Manager: Oversee project implementation, manage monitoring and reporting, and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Teacher/Facilitator: Teach children aged 5-15, using a positive discipline approach and learning new pedagogical methods.
- Facilitator/Volunteer: Teach children aged 5-15, using a positive discipline approach and learning new pedagogical methods.
- Sewing Instructor: Train groups of adolescents and adults in sewing skills.
- Carpentry Instructor: Train groups of adolescents and adults in carpentry skills.
- Guard: Provide security during day and night shifts.
- Support Staff/Cook: Prepare healthy snacks for children.
Requirements
- Assistant Project Manager: Master’s Degree in Education/ Social Sciences/Management, English - advanced, knowledge of Rohingya language, experience in Project Circle Management.
- Teacher/Facilitator: Bachelor Degree in Education, English - intermediate, previous teaching experience, positive discipline approach.
- Facilitator/Volunteer: Bachelor Degree in Education, English - intermediate, previous teaching experience, positive discipline approach.
- Sewing Instructor: Experience in training groups of adolescents and adults.
- Carpentry Instructor: Experience in training groups of adolescents and adults.
- Guard: Day and night shift availability.
- Support Staff/Cook: Ability to prepare healthy snacks for children.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree: preferably in Education/ Social Sciences/Management
- Bachelor Degree: in Education
- English: Advanced/Intermediate
- Knowledge of Rohingya Language: Preferred
- Experience: Project Circle Management, Teaching Groups of Children, Training Adolescents and Adults
