Education Consultants & Coaches

Role Description

Math Mastery Movement is seeking experienced, student-centered Education Consultants and Instructional Coaches to partner with schools and districts in improving mathematics and literacy outcomes. In this role, you will provide job-embedded coaching, facilitate professional learning, model high-quality instruction, analyze student achievement data, and collaborate with teachers and school leaders to strengthen instructional practice.

Ideal candidates are passionate educators with deep content knowledge, strong facilitation skills, and a commitment to building teacher capacity and accelerating student success. Experience supporting diverse learners, implementing evidence-based instructional practices, and working effectively with school leadership teams is highly preferred. Travel may be required depending on district assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, Mathematics, Literacy, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful classroom teaching experience.
• Experience as an instructional coach, curriculum specialist, educational consultant, department chair, instructional leader, or school administrator preferred.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices in mathematics and/or literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teachers through classroom observations, feedback cycles, modeling, and co-teaching.
• Experience designing and facilitating professional development for educators and school leaders.
• Ability to analyze student achievement and instructional data to inform coaching and instructional decisions.
• Strong understanding of standards-based instruction, formative assessment, and differentiated instruction.
• Experience supporting MTSS/RTI, intervention, and acceleration efforts is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with teachers, administrators, and district leaders.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Comfortable learning and using instructional technology and AI-supported educational tools.
• Able and willing to travel to schools and districts as assigned.
• Demonstrated commitment to educational equity, continuous improvement, and student achievement.
• Maintains the highest level of professionalism in all interactions by consistently demonstrating integrity, accountability, reliability, confidentiality, punctuality, preparation, responsiveness, sound judgment, professional appearance, and excellent communication while representing Math Mastery Movement with excellence in service to school and district partners, including teachers, administrators, students, families, and community stakeholders.
