EDM Machinist I - 2nd Shift

As a machinist within our Military Aircraft Group, you will machine some of the most challenging parts which will be used on major production programs such as F-35, MQ-25, and FLRAA.

This position is onsite in Buffalo, NY, and follows a 2nd shift schedule. It is eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus for candidates who submit their application between July 20, 2026, and September 11, 2026, subject to the terms of the bonus agreement.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints, process instructions, and/or verbal instructions.
• Following a training period, operate a Sinker or Wire EDM Machine.
• Perform inspection of all work using a variety of measuring equipment.
• Actively collaborate with other team members to problem solve within your work area.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience as a general machinist.
• Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applies to machining.
• Familiarity using various measuring equipment.
• Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
• Enrollment and participation in the company’s F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program is required due to strict Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.).
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Pay

Buffalo, NY: $22.00–$27.00 hourly.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
