Editorial Intern (PCMag)

About the role

PCMag is seeking energetic, motivated individuals looking to develop their careers in digital media. This is a chance to work alongside the smartest writers and editors in the business, learn the systems we use, and get a better understanding of our brand, mission, and business model.

Responsibilities

• Aid in product testing and draft reviews under editorial guidance
• Write news and longer-form articles on the latest tech products and services, including how-to and tips stories
• Participate in the editing process and assist with proofreading and formatting stories
• Contribute to other editorial projects as needed

Job Qualifications

• Availability to work 20-29 hours per week
• Local candidates preferred, but remote candidates may be considered
• Exceptional communication skills
• Demonstrable writing and/or editing experience (beyond classwork)
• A strong affinity for technology
• A willingness to learn
• Self-motivated, adaptable to pitch in where and when needed

• A writing/reporting focus at school is strongly recommended
• Published writing samples are a huge plus
