EDI Functional Consultant

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for implementation EDI based solutions
• Troubleshoot issues with electronic file transfers to identify the root cause and issue resolution
• Guide client and assist in the onboarding of new EDI partners
• Capture and document new EDI business requirements, translate them into technical specifications in preparation of implementation
• Interface with Trading Partners and 3rd party vendors to ensure successful testing of electronic transactions for existing and new business requirements
• Conduct business process review meetings with clients to understand requirements for Retail EDI, 3PL, and BlueCherry Electronic Logistics EDI based integrations
• Implement projects using standard methodology & industry best practices
• Document our clients’ current processes and define to-be processes
• Configure a customer-driven solution to meet our clients’ business objectives
• Proactively report to project manager and project team on project progress and issues
• Provide training to client staff on system functional features and capabilities
• Work with project teams, clients, third-party vendors, and cross-functional teams collaboratively

Requirements

• BlueCherry experience
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• +5 years of experience of managing day-to-day EDI operations
• Solid background of implementing and managing EDI transactions such as: 180, 832, 940, 943, 846, 944, 945, 94
• Strong Knowledge of CommerceHub, TrueCommerce, Shopify, Amazon
• Experience with transfer protocols, FTP
• Proven success in leading, collaborating, and contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Determined ability to keep people motivated
• Recognized ability to work creatively and logically in a problem-solving environment
• ServiceNow, and Lucid chart experience is a plus
