Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for healthcare claims processing applications and EDI transactions.
- Monitor production systems, applications, batch jobs, and interfaces.
- Troubleshoot EDI 837 transaction issues, including 999 acknowledgements and error resolution.
- Execute SQL queries for production troubleshooting and data validation.
- Review production logs and alerts to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage and resolve production incidents using ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
- Maintain operational documentation and support process improvements.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend support.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in production support.
- Strong healthcare claims production support experience.
- Experience working as an EDI Analyst in a production support environment (not an EDI Developer).
- Strong knowledge of EDI 837 transactions and 999 acknowledgements/errors.
- Strong SQL querying and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with incident management using ServiceNow.
- Experience with production monitoring, batch jobs, log analysis, and application support.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting healthcare payer environments.
- Knowledge of Oracle or Snowflake.
- Experience with Jenkins or similar enterprise tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise batch processing environments.
