About the role

The ED Tech position is a full-time nursing support role in the Hospital Emergency Department (ER).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care relevant to the age and developmental level of the patient.
• Work independently as part of a team while ensuring high levels of safety and patient experience.
• Identify patient needs and provide care in a team environment.
• Maintain patient care information and prepare reports.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and collect essential patient care information.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Nursing Team to perform essential functions.
• Keep neat records and maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Show a customer service attitude when interacting with patients and families.
• Manage supplies and equipment with superb organizational skills.
• Remain calm and professional in crisis and emergent situations.
• Use computer skills for electronic records management systems.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year in healthcare.
