About the role
Location: Baylor, Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Ft Worth
Specialty/Unit: Emergency Department
Shift/Schedule: Full-Time Nights, 3 twelve hour shifts per week, rotating weekends
The Emergency Department (ED) Technician, supervised by Nursing Staff, helps provide emergency care. Performs duties and direct technical care needing knowledge of basic patient care standards and medical technology.
Responsibilities
- Helps in patient care duties.
- Collects data like vital signs, weight, pulse oximetry, pain scale, visual acuity, and nutritional intake.
- Documents on appropriate forms.
- Recognizes and reports abnormal data or findings promptly.
