About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers high-quality patient care, ensuring positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practice. Working under general supervision, the role involves coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Review patient needs and conditions to provide appropriate care in the assigned unit.
- Analyze patient information including medical history and diagnostics to develop individualized care plans.
- Prepare nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments for comprehensive patient care.
- Reconcile medical records to maintain accuracy and compliance with standards and policies.
- Evaluate patient responses and adjust interventions to meet care goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective care planning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).
- At least 1 year of RN experience (clinical specialty preferred).
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- Certifications: BLS (CPR) from the American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
