ED Research Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a personable, self-motivated, and organized part-time Clinical Research Assistant to assist in the execution of clinical studies in accordance with approved protocols. This role heavily involves interacting with patients, families, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Identify, screen, and consent patients in accordance with study protocols.
• Administer surveys and follow-up with study participants.
• Adhere to IRB-approved protocols, comply with institutional policies, SOP guidelines, and federal, state, and sponsor policies.
• Collect and transport samples from patients as indicated by the research protocol.
• Collect required data, code, and enter into clinical research forms or computerized databases.
• Maintain accurate and timely research records while upholding patient confidentiality according to the principles of GCP guidelines and regulatory compliance.
• Perform other administrative and research duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare field (preferred).
• Experience in a healthcare setting, either clinical or research (preferred).

Schedule

Shifts will be scheduled during the hours of 4pm–12am on weekdays and 10am–12am on weekends.

Pay

$16.00 – $21.25 per hour. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
