ED Nurse Faulkner
Schedule
To meet the needs of the department every other weekend and holiday rotation. Works in the ED, providing immediate acute care to patients. Assures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.
About the Role
The Registered Nurse is a professional nurse registered in Massachusetts who is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Standards of Care as set forth in the Nursing Department's Clinical Practice Manual.
Responsibilities
- Provides immediate acute care to patients in the ED.
- Triage, assess, treat and document care.
- Assures the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in an environment that exemplifies best practice.
- Works in the ED, providing immediate acute care to patients.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing required.
- Experience in lieu of a degree may be accepted.
- Licenses and Credentials:
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
- Must obtain ACLS prior to end of orientation and may not practice independently without ACLS.
- PALS preferred.
- ED experience is strongly preferred.
- 2 years’ telemetry experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
Adheres to all C.A.R.E. standards. Demonstrates evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients. Demonstrates observational skills and the ability to set priorities. Demonstrates effective skills in applying hospital standards in area of service, team work, communication, respect for others, and time/priority management.

$41.36 - $100.00/Hourly Grade RN3500
