About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide acute care in the Emergency Department. The role involves triaging, assessing, treating, and documenting patient care for a busy ED with 29 beds, available 24/7 for X-rays, CTs, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering patient care according to Nursing Standards of Care
- Demonstrating initiative, clinical skills, and complex patient management
- Ensuring adherence to the Patient and Family Centered Care Model
- Managing patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
- Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications
Preferred Skills and Experience
- ED and telemetry experience
- Strong interpersonal, communication, observational, and stress management skills
Work Environment and Schedule
The position requires on-site work and night shifts.
