Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 48 college credits preferred
- Ability to obtain Level III Assistant licensure (appropriate college credits or pass test for licensure)
- Two years of documented work experience with children
Qualifications
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and CD technology
- Experience with computer data entry and word processing
- Knowledge of spelling and proper grammar
- Ability to read and interpret routine information
- Ability to operate audio visual equipment and office machines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information and records
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and relationships with students, parent/guardians, staff, and supervisors/administrators
- Writes simple letters, memos, notes, or instructions
- Performs essential job functions and job task requirements
Benefits
Nine months (185 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the Educational Assistant Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be permanent.
