ECVC Associate

Key Responsibilities

- Represent emerging growth companies and VC investors in formation, financings, M&A, and other strategic matters - Advise on SAFEs, preferred stock financings, convertible notes, and equity compensation plans - Serve as trusted counsel to high-growth startups across various sectors including AI/ML, digital health, fintech, and life sciences - Guide clients through complex corporate governance and transactional issues from pre-seed through pre-IPO

Qualifications

- 6–8 years of ECVC or related corporate experience at a top-tier law firm - JD from an ABA-accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials - Proficiency in venture capital deal terms, startup equity structuring, and founder/investor negotiations - Excellent communication skills and a client-focused, entrepreneurial mindset - Admission to the California Bar (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation & Benefits
