About the role
The Economic Empowerment VISTA will make meaningful contributions to IRC Denver’s Economic Empowerment programs, advancing our work supporting both near and long-term outcomes of stabilization, poverty reduction, and community integration for refugees and asylees.
Responsibilities
- Drafting programmatic policies and procedures for review by IRC staff
- Researching and assisting in the development of frameworks to monitor programs and outcomes
- Developing resource-mapping systems
- Designing surveys or other client feedback tools
- Reviewing client feedback to increase agency understanding of and ability to be responsive to the communities being served
- Helping further develop systems and monitoring tools
- Evaluating current programs, analyzing data to capture unmet client needs or unreached clients
- Developing curriculum and program materials
- Creating referral resource banks
- Providing written reports on recommendations
Requirements
- An openness to working with people from varied backgrounds
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A proficiency with Microsoft Office
- A commitment to completing 12 months of full-time service beginning September 8, 2026
Schedule
- 3 days in-office
- 2 days remote

- $68.39 daily living allowance during service period
