Economic Development Finance Attorney
About the role
Bricker Graydon Wyatt is seeking an experienced attorney to support its Economic Development Finance team in Kentucky and Ohio offices. The ideal candidate will have multi-year experience with public procurement and government contracts, along with knowledge of commercial finance, public finance, economic development finance, construction, and Public-Private Partnerships (P3).
Responsibilities
- Support the Economic Development Finance team in public procurement and government contracts
- Work with commercial finance, public finance, economic development finance, construction, and P3 projects
- Contribute to the development and negotiation of financing agreements
- Collaborate with other attorneys on various assignments
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of commercial finance, public finance, economic development finance, construction, and P3
- Training in tax, economics, or corporations (e.g., LLM or MBA)
- Excellent academic credentials
- High ethical standards
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong project management skills
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited institution
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state
- Passionate about public procurement and government contracts
