eCommerce Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architecture for eCommerce platforms (web, mobile, integrations).
• Oversee development, deployment, and maintenance of eCommerce systems (e.g., storefront, payment, analytics, fulfillment).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead a team of developers, QA, and DevOps engineers—providing mentorship and technical guidance.
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of platforms.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and technologies.
• Foster Agile practices, DevOps automation, and continuous delivery.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; master’s degree is preferred.
• Required: 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in eCommerce.
• Required: Deep understanding of eCommerce architectures, cloud platforms, and integrations.
• Required: Expertise in web technologies and Frameworks (Javascript, HTML, CSS, React), backend systems (Salesforce suite), database design, and content management systems.
• Required: Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
• Required: Experience with payment gateways, order management, inventory, CRM, and analytics systems.
• Required: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• PREFERRED: Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and suite of products, or similar platforms.
• PREFERRED: Experience with loyalty, fraud and payment platforms.

Physical Requirements

• Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials, up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.
