Ecommerce Operations Manager
About the role
Fishwife is a woman-founded and led food company aiming to make ethically-sourced, premium, and delicious tinned seafood a staple in every cupboard. We source from responsibly managed fisheries and aquaculture farms to bring the vibrance of conservas culture to the North American table. We launched in December 2020 and have been featured by publications like The New York Times, Bon Appetit, Forbes, Vogue, LA Times, INSIDER, and many more.
Fishwife's e-commerce business, across Shopify and Amazon, is one of our fastest-growing channels and one of the most operationally complex. Every month brings new launches, gift sets, bundles, and non-fish items, and each one depends on an accurate listing, a reliable forecast, and inventory that lands on time. The Ecommerce Operations Manager owns that engine end to end: you will turn Marketing's revenue goals into a SKU-level demand plan, keep our Shopify and Amazon catalogs accurate, and run the launch process that takes every new item from idea to ready-to-ship on schedule. This is a manager-level role for a strategic operator who is as comfortable building a forecast as driving a cross-functional launch plan. You will be the bridge between Marketing and Operations, bringing the planning and operations experience that turns marketing plans into executable supply plans and holding partners on both teams to their dates. You'll work daily with Growth, Brand, Procurement, Demand Planning, and the broader Operations team. This role reports to the Head of Marketing, with a dotted line to Operations. It is an individual-contributor role.
