About the role

The eCommerce Associate assists the management team in achieving operational goals for ShopGoodwill.com, a platform operated by Goodwill. This position involves various roles such as Picker/Shelver, Packer and Shipping Clerk, eBook Scanner, eBook Picker/Shelver, eBook Shipper, or Customer Service Associate.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Meet and surpass hourly production quotas
  • Cross-train in other areas to build skill base and value within the department
  • Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately
  • Inspect and confirm product conditions
  • Confirm appropriate packaging for customer orders
  • Print address labels and prepare packages for shipment
  • Generate and answer customer communications
  • Schedule pick-up appointments
  • Pre-pick and organize customer orders
  • Take specific product photos for customer requests
  • Resolve issues as they arise with each department within the facility

Preferred Competencies

  • Manage prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer or handheld scanner
  • Some exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations and working with constant overhead fluorescent lighting
  • Visual Acuity: Close, distance, peripheral, color vision abilities, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
