Echocardiography Coordinator

Job Summary

As a Clinical Coordinator Echo, you will perform dimensional ultrasonic recordings of the heart and other organs for diagnosis. You will assist with stress testing, operate echocardiography machines, and assist with other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing. You will also oversee the accuracy and quality of the echo sonographers, maintain logs, records, and data, and ensure compliance with IAC and ASE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

What You Will Do

• Assist with stress testing
• Operate echocardiography machines
• Assist with other non-invasive cardio diagnostic testing, analysis, and records
• Oversight of echo sonographers' accuracy and quality
• Maintain logs, records, statistics, and data
• Ensure adherence to IAC and ASE guidelines
• Deal with staff performance deficiencies in a constructive and timely manner
• Recognize and reward exemplary performance
• Aid in the completion of preliminary echo reports
