Echocardiographer Per Diem
Position Purpose
The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.
What You Will Do
- Performs Diagnostic Cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients in the Department of Cardiology/Echocardiography.
- Participates in teaching Cardiology Fellows from the University of Connecticut Medical School and Echocardiographer students from the Hoffman Heart School of Ultrasound.
- Maintains workflow and performs clerical duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an approved cardiac Ultrasound technology program, with credentialing from an ICAEL and ASE recognized Program, such as ARDMS or CCI.
- Licensure: Licensed by an organization recognized by ICAEL and ASE.
