About the role

Under general supervision, performs diagnostic procedures utilizing ECHO, TEE, ECHO Rest & Stress, Carotid Ultrasound, Arterial & Venous Doppler Ultrasound in the CVS department. Responsible for maintaining current certification/registry CME's. Maintains respectful rapport with the physician and other staff members. Practices Service Excellence within the CVS Department and hospital wide. Accountable for accurate, complete, and timely patient studies as ordered by the physicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures utilizing ECHO, TEE, ECHO Rest & Stress, Carotid Ultrasound, Arterial & Venous Doppler Ultrasound
• Maintain current certification/registry CME's
• Maintain respectful rapport with physicians and other staff members
• Practice Service Excellence within the CVS Department and hospital wide
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely patient studies as ordered by physicians

Minimum Qualifications

• Certification as Cardiovascular Technologist (C.V.T.) or Diploma in Cardiac Ultrasound
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Registry in related field strongly preferred (e.g., registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers- A.R.D.M.S., or Cardiovascular Credentialing International C.C.I., etc.)

Pay

$40.75 - $54.78 hourly
