Essential Job Functions
- Gather necessary BOMs to create required labels and complete pouch and label printing.
- Operate various label printers (Zebra, Accufast, Dalemark, Datamax, etc.).
- Use labeling software such as Bartender, Jet Engine, and Colos to fulfill job orders.
- Rework pouches and labels as needed, including maintaining and reprinting pouch quantities.
- Complete required quality documentation in accordance with FDA regulations.
- Perform quality inspections as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- GED or high school diploma preferred.
- Ability to read and understand directions in English.
- Ability to interpret packaging drawings.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, including machine operation.
- Experience working in fast-paced, physically demanding environments preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of FDA and ISO requirements for the medical device industry preferred.
- Experience understanding and applying regulations, standards, drawings, and procedures.
- Ability to learn new software programs quickly and thoroughly.
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while remaining composed.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $17.75-$19.75/hour + $2.50/hour differential. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
