ECE DC - Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher (6 to 8 hrs per day)

About This Role

All About Children Learning Center in Buford, GA is seeking a qualified ECE DC - Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher (6 to 8 hrs per day) to work with Mixed / All Ages in a school-based pre-k, faith-based program, other environment.

This position requires a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.

What You'll Do

• Support the team in planning and executing curricula activities, promoting active child participation.
• Actively engage in classroom activities, maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
• Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Model good hygiene and self-help behaviors to encourage positive habits in children.
• Ensure a smooth transition for children from home to the child care center on a daily basis.
• Adhere to all center policies and state regulations at all times.
• Develop and maintain a professional growth plan to continuously improve teaching practices.

Requirements

• Must pass a full background check.
• Must clear health screening.
• Able to work well with others.
• High energy.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Must earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential by December 2019.
