Eastern Region Watershed Planner

About the role

The Water Quality Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill an Eastern Region Watershed Planner (Environmental Planner 4) position. This position is located in the Eastern Regional Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside other water quality professionals, stakeholders, and members of the community to find solutions to complex water quality issues.
• Plan strategies for efficient implementation of Ecology’s Eastern Region’s water quality permits and water quality implementation plans.
• Cookinate with large-watershed stakeholder groups, other Ecology programs and Ecology’s regional staff to ensure that Ecology’s resources are applied in a coordinated manner as we work towards achieving water quality standards.
