Eastern Controls - Applications Specialist - Edgmont, PA

About the role

Eastern Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser Inc., is seeking Application Specialists to support real-world industrial solutions, learn our products from the ground up, and work closely with sales and customers. If you are technically curious, detail-oriented, and ready to grow, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes and RFQs for customers and outside sales.
• MATCH customers' needs with standard product solutions (training provided).
• Communicate clearly with customers, sales, and internal teams.
• Track quotes, orders, and updates in our CRM.
• SUPPORT order entry, delivery timelines, and follow-ups.
• SPOT simple cross-sell or up-sell opportunities.
• BUILD hands-on knowledge of instrumentation, valves, actuation, gas detection, and services.

Requirements

• You will have (required):
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical/Chemical Engineering) or Business Degree with ability to provide technical solutions (or equivalent experience)
• 0-2 years relevant experience
• You may have (preferred):
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with CRM Platforms
• Ability to follow documented procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to escalate situations appropriately
