About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join a team in an East Dorset Primary School. Start: Tuesday 3rd November 2026. Finish: End of academic year 2027. This role is paid to scale.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons
• Ensure high standards of teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusivity, creativity, and academic excellence

Requirements

• Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Has experience teaching in KS2

Skills

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Is a team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Has experience of working in mixed age classes
