Spiritual Requirements

• Demonstrate in speech, actions, and attitude a consistent walk with Jesus Christ as outlined in the GCS Statement of Christian Faith.
• Be available always to be used by the Holy Spirit for the spiritual encouragement of students or fellow teachers.
• Share the Christian faith with students.
• Read and study the Bible on a personal basis throughout the year.
• Be faithfully involved in a local church.

Professional Requirements

• Keep accurate records of arrival and dismissal of students
• Maintain a safe atmosphere and environment
• Attend teacher planning/faculty meetings when requested by Principal
• Assist with Staff childcare on teacher workdays if needed.
• Correctly dismiss children to their parents
• Develop an open nurturing relationship with students and their parents
• Maintain excellent discipline and student control
• Report to work as scheduled and on time
• Make each student feel special and respected
• Plan and oversee interesting and stimulating activities for children
• Be sure facility is left clean and neat each day
• Oversee other After School Care Providers
• Facilitate with GCS Business Office after school care billing
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal
