About the role
Drive on the Via platform in Indio, CA and earn a $300 new driver-partner promotion and up to $21.00/hr (net). Via uses app-based technology to make transportation more efficient, reinventing shared rides to reduce congestion, lower emissions, and get passengers to their destinations efficiently. In Indio, Via is partnering with Sunline to provide an on-demand ridesharing service.
As an independent contractor Driver Partner, you will use the Via Platform to connect with riders, providing shared rides using an efficient routing system.
Pay
- $300 new driver-partner promotion* upon completion of eligibility requirements
- Eligible to earn up to $23/hour after vehicle-related expenses, or up to $25/hour for driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle

Requirements
- Valid California driver’s license
- 25 years of age or older
- More than 1 year of driving history
- Personal auto insurance policy
- Lease and drive a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner
- Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN required)
- Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and submit to ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing as required under FTA rules
*New driver partner promotion: To be eligible, you must complete at least 30 hours of driving on the Via platform within 30 days of completing your driver onboarding session. Time offline, including breaks, will not be included in this 30-hour minimum. This promotion may be revoked or altered at any time at Via's sole discretion, and these terms are subject to change at Via's sole discretion.
