About the role

Drive on the Via platform in Seattle, WA, providing on-demand microtransit service (Metro Flex) in partnership with King County Metro. Use Via’s app-based technology to offer efficient shared rides, helping reduce congestion and lower emissions.

Pay

Earn a $100 new driver partner promotion and up to $21.85/hour (net) after expenses. Rates are up to $19.85/hour for standard vehicles and up to $21.85/hour for driving a WAV (wheelchair-accessible) vehicle, after vehicle-related expenses.

• New Driver Partner Promotion: Complete at least 10 hours of driving within 30 days of activation to qualify. Breaks during driving hours do not count toward the 10-hour minimum. Promotion terms are subject to change at Via’s discretion.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Valid King County for-hire driver’s license.
• Valid City of Seattle Business License.
• 25 years of age or older.
• More than one year of unrestricted driving history.
• Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN required).
• Carry personal auto liability insurance.
• Lease and drive a vehicle from a Via-approved vehicle leasing partner.
• Enroll in the FTA Drug & Alcohol testing program (pre-engagement, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing).
