About the role
The ESS Professional will work with children with a variety of developmental delays and/or disabilities from birth to age three to develop an Individualized Family Support Plan to support the child’s development. The ESS Professional will work together with a supportive, dynamic team within the Family Resource Center in order to connect the family to needed resources.
Responsibilities
- Work with children with a variety of developmental delays and/or disabilities from birth to age three to develop an Individualized Family Support Plan to support the child’s development.
- Work together with a supportive, dynamic team within the Family Resource Center in order to connect the family to needed resources.
- Balance providing hands-on services while efficiently completing paperwork.
- Educate families on available community resources and supports.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for families.
Requirements
- A local Associate Degree in education or human services related field with relevant experience is required.
- An Associate Degree, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree, or license/certification is preferred.
- Experience with working with children under 3 is preferred.
- Local travel will be required in order to meet families in their natural environment.
- Flexibility in hours and some remote work is possible.
