Early Preschool Teacher

About the role

The Primrose School at Bedford Hills is seeking an energetic, caring, and positive team member to join their early childhood educators for the new school year. They are looking for candidates who enjoy interacting with young children, have a consistent schedule, and work in a caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with young children and families in a safe and loving environment.
• Teach structured fun, learning activities and active play using the Balanced Learning® curriculum.
• Maintain a beautiful, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
• Discover what works best for each child as they teach them about the world around them.

Requirements

• Previous child care center, para II experience or ECE student preferred.
• Passion working with young children necessary.
• Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib for infant and young toddler teachers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid New York State Child Abuse/Neglect Reporting Certificate.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Candidates can be full-time or part-time.
