Early Morning (Truck Crew)

About the role

Store team members in the Paramus, NJ location deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop the store, and ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience while supporting store recovery and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products and find solutions.
• Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling to standards.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties throughout the store, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go‑back process and general store recovery to keep the store well‑merchandised and in‑stock.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model for team members.
• Cross‑trained in custom framing selling and production.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to remain standing for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
• Work environment includes a public retail store (climate‑controlled public areas, some non‑climate‑controlled stock rooms), occasional outdoor tasks (retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks), and a frame shop with glass cutter and heat press.
• Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Cross‑trained in custom framing selling and production.

Pay

Base pay range: $15.92 – $18.50 per hour. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with state and local laws.

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
