About the role

The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. They greet customers, assist with merchandise, answer questions, and handle various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy
• Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
• Perform cleaning tasks to keep the store clean and organized
• Manage inventory and merchandise presentation
• Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally

• Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Physical requirements: able to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time; able to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop; able to occasionally push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds; able to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies
