Early Morning Stock Associate

About the role

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding the importance of safety, treating both customers and colleagues with respect, and performing a variety of tasks to support the store's operations.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices safety as the top priority.
• Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Treats all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
• Assists customers by greeting them, answering questions, and assisting with merchandise.
• Responds promptly to customer service calls and handles issues courteously, escalating to leadership when necessary.
• Represents the company brand and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized store.
• Follows loss prevention policies and processes.
• Manages work processes effectively and collaborates with colleagues.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Effective communication with customers and colleagues.
• Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of the working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift and push/pull more than 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment and other assigned supplies.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $21.57 - $22.07. Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and various discounts and perks.
