About the role

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires a high level of safety awareness, excellent customer service, and the ability to perform various tasks across different areas of the store.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and practices safety as the top priority.
  • Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Treats all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, recognizing fellow associates through Company recognition programs.
  • Assists customers by greeting them, answering questions, and performing register transactions.
  • Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and replenishing restroom supplies.
  • Represents and supports the company brand at all times.
  • Follows loss prevention policies and processes, including identifying and disposing of out-of-stock merchandise.
  • Communicates effectively with customers, associates, and store leadership.
  • Manages work processes efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical calculations.

Physical Requirements/ADA

  • Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment and carry assigned supplies.
  • Associates working stockroom shifts: Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 20 pounds.
