About the role
The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding safety protocols, treating customers and colleagues with respect, and performing various tasks to support the store's operations.
Responsibilities
- Understands and practices safety measures in all activities.
- Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by promptly correcting or reporting unsafe conditions.
- Treats all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
- Assists customers, greets them, and responds promptly to their inquiries.
- Performs daily cleaning tasks and maintains a clean, organized store.
- Follows loss prevention policies and merchandise protection standards.
- Demonstrates integrity and honesty in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
- Handles cash, checks, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
- Supports the company's brand and represents it effectively.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Effective communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Basic mathematical skills for retail environments.
Physical Requirements/ADA
- Ability to use store equipment and move around the store frequently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment and perform other assigned tasks.
