About the role

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding safety protocols, treating customers and colleagues with respect, assisting with merchandise and answering customer inquiries, and performing various cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Understands and practices safety in all actions.
  • Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Treats customers and associates respectfully and professionally, recognizing colleagues through company recognition programs.
  • Assists customers with merchandise, answers questions politely, and greets them with a smile and "thank you."
  • Responds promptly to customer service calls and handles issues courteously, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Represents the company brand and maintains confidentiality.
  • Performs daily cleaning tasks, sizes and recovers merchandise, and follows loss prevention policies.
  • Ensures the store is well-maintained and efficiently merchandised.
  • Manages inventory and follows Mark-Out-of-Stock policies.
  • Handles cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and follows policies.
  • Executes Store best practices to maximize productivity.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

  • Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Basic mathematical calculations relevant to retail environments.

Physical Requirements/ADA

  • Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Store for up to 100% of working time.
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $17.13 - $17.63. Additional benefits include:
