Early Morning Stock Associate
About the role
The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding the importance of safety, treating both customers and colleagues with respect, and performing a variety of tasks across different areas of the store.
Responsibilities
- Understands and practices safety as the top priority.
- Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Treats all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, recognizing colleagues through company recognition programs.
- Assists customers by greeting them, answering questions, and assisting with merchandise.
- Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and handles issues in a courteous and helpful manner.
- Represents the company brand at all times and performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized store.
- Performs daily sizing and recovery tasks to ensure a neat and clean store.
- Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company best practices.
- Understands and follows loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Manages work processes effectively, communicates effectively, and ensures accountability and execution.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Effective communication with customers and associates.
- Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.
Physical Requirements/ADA
- Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to lift and push/pull more than 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment and supplies.

The base pay range for this role is $15.00 - $15.50. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
