Early Morning Retail Stockroom Processor

About the Role

As a Retail Stockroom Processor, you are responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. You may be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Receives, organizes, and processes merchandise in the stockroom to ensure product availability and accessibility for the sales floor (6AM morning shift)
• Tags, labels, and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Replenishes sales floor stock as needed based on store demands
• Assists in regular cycle counts and inventory audits
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment
• Follows all company procedures related to inventory control and safety
• Collaborates with merchandise coordinators and management to prioritize restocking needs
• Assists with store recovery, markdowns, and stockroom organization projects

Qualifications

• Previous stockroom, warehouse, or retail experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual with a team-oriented attitude
• Excellent customer service skills, strong communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Schedule

6AM morning shift for receiving and stockroom processing.
