About the role

Thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment is key. As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll be part of a dynamic team working to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. Your role involves ensuring a quick and easy customer experience, keeping the store clean and organized, and working in various areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the salesfloor is "runway ready" through re-merchandising and straightening
• Assist customers with transactions using a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and handling bulk items
• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting and assisting customers and sorting returned clothing
• Sort and return clothing to the salesfloor to maintain a clutter-free environment
• Operate inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms
• Support store operations by setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures

Requirements

• Clear, effective communication with strong interpersonal skills
• Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds

Pay

$17.10 - $17.80 hourly

Schedule
